Incredible $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time available through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software over the years, the entire collection carries a value of over $1,300. The Main Attraction

The big draw is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Basic Package

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
